The Data and Information Manager, is responsible for providing timely logistics management including, in the right quantity, of the right quality and at "best in class" costs. In cooperation with the team leader and manager, the Data and Information Manager ensures a smooth and coordinated processing of defined tasks and responsibilities. In cooperation with other Distribution Centers (DC’s) within the organization, s/he will also focus on project/process improvements, as well as standardization to ensure that processes are designed to meet the very highest standards of customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Manage and drive all Quality issues assigned to the DC according to the specifications and service level agreements.
- Perform incoming goods inspection (IQC) according to specifications.
- Processing of Digital Products according to specifications.
- Set targeted actions and activities.
- Perform “Root causes Analysis”.
- Maintain data flow and act as 1st level support for claims & complaints, as well process related issues.
- Lead quality initiatives, plan and coordinate warehouse inspections based on errors (e.g. taskforces).
- Organize inventory counts and bookings.
- Handle return processes.
- Drive continuous improvements (CIP), support and implementation of new processes to the DC.
- Derivation/Preparation of KPI's including analysis.
- Participate and be engaged in the Quality Community to develop a strong quality culture within the company.

- Ensure that all processes and tasks in the functional area are optimally fulfilled, supported and improved.
- Responsible for accurate indications and information as well as a correct flow of information – internally as well as externally, nationally and internationally.
Competences:- Independent, target-oriented communication with other departments and interfaces.
- Independent decisions and measures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and any safety regulations.
- Independent decisions and measures to achieve the defined objectives.
Required Skills (Technical & Personal):- Deep understanding of “Logistics Processes” with strong problem solving and project/process management skills, and affinity for technical handling of products.
- Clear communication skills at all levels and different interfaces in English with a sense of intercultural awareness.
- Good IT skills: MS-Office, SAP-Modules, SAP QIM and affinity to gain knowledge on further systems (AIS, Teamcenter, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience in “Lean Manufacturing” (5s, Ishikawa diagram, Six Sigma. etc.) preferred.
- Process- and target-oriented way of working; analytical, structured, hands-on, solution-orientated.
- Team player with good organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and initiate contacts as necessary.
