Location: Timken Mounted Bearings, Ferndale, WA.
Job Type: Full-Time.
Shift: Day Shift.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8hr assigned shift between 5am-5pm.
Pay Range: Targeted Starting rate $49,000 - $52,000; Full pay scale: $47,000 - $65,000.

Position Summary:

The Customer Relations Management Representative will provide a range of  technical customer service functions according to customer requests. Duties consist of answering sales calls and emails to assist customers in ordering products, including quoting pricing and delivery on products in our catalog or special order items. CRM Reps will have an thorough knowledge of mounted bearings products and applications and know how to efficiently navigate ERP software (specifically SAP) to determine product and component availability. The role receives direction from the CRM Supervisor but is required to work on an independent basis.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Quote pricing and delivery for customers via phone and e-mail with accuracy and efficiency, navigating systems (such as SAP) to determine product and component availability.
  • Enter and prepare sales orders.
  • Facilitate customer orders and confirm delivery dates with manufacturing or appropriate distribution center through clear and regular communication.
  • Maintain regular communication with the CRM Supervisor to confirm delivery and price on any special order items.
  • Field questions and source answers about product application requirements such as loads, speeds, tolerances, and other technical specifications of the products.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and initiative to provide positive outcomes for customers.
  • Ensure adequate stock or component combination is available when promising delivery dates; if promised delivery cannot be met, communicate proactively and regularly with the customer.
  • Coordinate with all areas of operations to ensure logistical flow of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a representative of the company, displaying professionalism and discretion in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
  • Accumulate and demonstrate progressive knowledge of mounted bearings products and applications.
  • Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. 
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
