    At a Glance

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer to join the Legrand North America Team in West Hartford, CT. The individual in this role will be responsible for the development of our B2B eCommerce Platform (SAP Hybris) as well as collaboration with the selected third party implementation partner. This role requires someone with significant J2ee and Java experience who has been instrumental in driving and delivering robust, enterprise level, solutions.

    What Will You Do?
  • Be an active participant in the larger B2B team to determine technical feasibility and scope of development
  • Collaborate with the selected Implementation Partner for heavy development work of the platform
  • SAP Hybris development and integration with other critical Legrand systems
  • Participate in requirements gathering and scope definition workshops during initial project planning
  • Documentation of all core development and integrations


    • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience with eCommerce systems or other enterprise level solutions (ERP, CRM, or other relevant web applications)
    • Proficient in J2EE and Java related technology, and skilled to use EJB, Struts, Spring, Hibernate and Web Services to develop projects

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • SAP Hybris/SAP experience
    • Skilled in web application development, and good experience in HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
    • Skilled to use and configure one or more main stream of Web and Application Servers, such as WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss etc.
    • Knowledge of database architecture and design, and experienced with at least one of the databases: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server and MySQL, and coding with the related SQL statement
    • Good knowledge on Software Engineering and Design Pattern, and able to use OOD to design with one or more UML tools
