Position Summary
Administrative activities of inbound and/or out bound loads of associates engaged in crating, moving, loading, unloading, and storing lawn & garden, home products by performing the following duties
Major Responsibilities
Ensures the hand-held terminals are maintained and fully charged, ready to update and download in a timely manner
Ensures that all receiving and/or shipping data entry is completed
Prepares all shipping and/or receiving documents accurately and in a timely manner
Schedules inbound and/or outbound appointments with carriers
Document any and all discrepancies with paperwork on inbound and/or outbound shipments, notify supervisor on discrepancies. Follow all safety policies & procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must have knowledge with forklift equipment
Education Requirements
- High School or GED recommended
Relevant Work Experience/Requirements
- Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills for internal and external customers
- Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems
- Knowledge of RF Scanner
- Able to push, pull, lift 55 LBS continuously throughout the shift
Certificates/Licensure/Training
- Must pass and maintain industrial lift truck certification
Travel Requirements
- Primarily local travel

- This position is located primarily in an office environment. At times the associate is required to sit for long periods of time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate may need the ability to lift and carry loads up to 20 pounds.
