Position Overview: As a Banquet Server reporting to the Event Manager, you'll be instrumental in orchestrating flawless events while providing outstanding service to our clients and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform event spaces by arranging tables, chairs, and settings according to detailed event specifications (BEOs)
- Create a welcoming atmosphere through professional, warm guest interactions
- Execute both plated and buffet service with precision and attention to detail
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs proactively
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout events
- Perform thorough closing procedures including cleanup, breakdown, and equipment storage
- Collaborate seamlessly with culinary and planning teams
- Work in harmony with fellow servers to ensure synchronized service delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of banquet or similar hospitality service experience preferred
- Current TABC and Food Handlers certifications (Texas requirement)
- Physical capability to lift 30 lbs regularly and maintain active movement for 8-12 hour shifts
- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- Must pass background check
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time position with primary hours during weekends and scheduled events
- Starting compensation: $19-$22 per hour
