Equitable Investor Relations (IR) is a strategic function, communicating effectively, transparently, and courageously with the EQH management team, the company, shareholders and the broader financial community in order to 1) inform EQH's strategy and priorities, 2) attract and retain long-term, high quality investors and 3) maximize long-term valuation.

This role is a high visibility opportunity to work closely with senior and executive management of Equitable, engage on critical strategic messaging topics, and successfully implement an investor relations and financial communications plan in support of the overall business strategy. We are a high performing team and our ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, experience in our business segments, is a self-starter, great collaborator, and has exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Confidently represent the company with external stakeholders, including cultivating strong relationships with investors and research analysts
• Clearly and effectively communicate the company's strategy and operational and financial performance to the external investment community, Board, and internal stakeholders
• Lead strategic messaging development for quarterly earnings, industry conferences, and other investor engagements, ensuring consistency across external and internal communications
• Analyze and report on shareholder ownership changes and provide perspective on current investor base; make sound recommendations for investor targeting strategy
• Provide in-depth analysis and perspective on financial, operational and other related data for the company, its competitors and other market players
• Seek to continuously improve IR processes and procedures and communication strategy to drive stronger partnerships and value-add program enhancements
• Oversee the successful execution of an IR investor market update, communicating the impact of FASB LDTI accounting changes, long-term financial targets, and company strategy
• Manage rotational Leadership Program and/or intern resource, including project assignment, management and review of deliverables Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting
• 12 years of experience in financial services
• Prior work experience in public company environment with strong understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting as well as SEC laws and securities disclosure/filing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA

• Insurance industry background a plus

• Track record of creating strong and lasting relationships with the Investor community and sell side research analyst

• Capability to effectively communicate to and coordinate with all levels and functions (MC, OPCO, Business Segments, and across Finance).
• Ability to recognize and anticipate issues and independently address proactively both within existing areas of responsibility and outside the defined areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
• Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
• Strong understanding of competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
• Team oriented and willing to "role up the sleeves" to ensure successful execution
• Intellectual curiosity, impeccable attention to detail, and desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative environment
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors
