JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision from the Program Manager or Therapist, will help operate equipment by helping patients/residents assigned to therapy. Must have provide excellent customer service, possess strong organization skills and be able to follow directions clearly and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its’ communities.
- Under the supervision of the therapist will assist with treating residents and helping them prepare for therapy sessions.
- Under the supervision of the therapist may occasionally work with residents on certain therapy exercises and therapies.
- Responsible for transporting residents from and to the treatment area.
- Responsible for providing clerical/admin support (faxing, filing, mailing, etc.).
- Responsible for maintaining treatment areas, as well as the equipment in the treatment area. This includes setting up treatment area, cleaning the equipment and therapy supplies
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required. Two (2) years experience in a therapy/health care setting preferred.
