The Informatica University team plays a pivotal role in building the future of Informatica by building training contents to build and contribute significantly to success of our products by training aligning to our customer and partner’s needs. Playing a key part in assisting the product Revenue growth by building well trained customer and partner team by building strong teams to ensure their Success at all levels in Implementation our Informatica Products.

Your Opportunity

This position, is responsible for analysis, design, development, and maintenance of eLearning/onDemand and Instructor-led courses. The courses are based on Informatica products and aimed at technical and sales audiences in the customer, employee, and partner community. Expert knowledge in instructional design and enterprise technologies is required for this job.

Your Responsibilities

• Use instructional design knowledge to analyze, design and develop effective and engaging instructional materials that meet audience needs.
• Work cross-functionally and develop a trusting partnership with stakeholders, subject matter experts, lab teams, and other content teams.
• Learn new Informatica products; translate complex information and concepts into accessible learning materials.
• Conduct design and content reviews effectively and in a timely manner.
• Design simulations, job aids, assessment questions, etc. to support courseware.
• Assist with content deployment and testing.
• Responsible for quality improvements of the course.
• Convert ILT content into other delivery modalities (eLearning/onDemand) and vice versa.
• Review and recommend technical and instructional enhancements for On Demand courses.
• Work with vendor resources to produce and deliver all projects on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Improve internal processes and training quality.

You’re Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with instructional design/development of sales, technical courses in a high-tech context.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is mandatory; graduate level instructional degree is preferred.

• Extensive experience developing technical content in a variety of learning formats, including instructor led and e-learning is a must.

• Instructional design knowledge and exposure to latest industry trends is required.

• Expert proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of Database concepts is required.

• Outstanding written communication skills is a requirement for the job.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus.

• Intermediate to advanced skills for Windows and Linux platforms.
