JOB DESCRIPTION
The Executive Assistant will support the COO and Executive offices (President or Federal Programs and Services, President of Sustainable & Resilient Solutions, and EVP of Operations) including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, meeting prep, and board support. The Executive Assistant must have prior experience supporting C-Suite leadership.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint to support office staff
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, conference/seminar registrations, internal and external business meetings, general office events, and sponsorship logistics, as needed
- Maintain calendars and keep track of events and reconcile conflicting appointments and schedules
- Assist the Corporate office with needs for the DCCP meetings in Alexandria
- Preparation of expense reports
- Assist in the executive coordination of events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Coordinate all logistical arrangements for internal events, including reserving rooms, developing invitations, monitoring RSVPs, ordering food and supplies, arranging room set-up, and serving as the main point of contact for attendees.
- Assist with Social Media postings for key events.
- Some Travel is required.
- Other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience; and at least 5+ years of related experience.
- You’ll need to be outgoing, organized and assertive.
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
- Must be able to quickly get up to speed on our policies, procedures and databases and acquire an understanding of the company’s service offerings.
- Strong computer skills & Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industries is preferable
Location
This position is located in Alexandria, VA.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $59,000 to $94.000 annually. The actual salary offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
