What You Will Do
As a Manager, Data Products, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of data-driven products powered by digital, artificial intelligence and analytics technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and execution.
Responsibilities:
· Product Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, goals, and roadmap for Digital, Data and AI products that align with business objectives.
· Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements.
· Data Management: Oversee data collection, storage, and preprocessing to ensure data quality and availability for training and model deployment.
· Machine Learning Models: Coordinate with data scientists and ML engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that power AI data products.
· Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, including design, development, testing, and deployment of AI data products.
· User Experience: Collaborate with user experience (UX) designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for AI data products.
· Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the performance and impact of AI data products.
· Product Iteration and Improvement: Continuously iterate and improve data products based on user feedback and performance insights.
· Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to data and AI products and develop mitigation plans.
Key Responsibilities
· Main accountabilities includes: • Define the data product vision and roadmap •Ensure the data product meets the needs of the business and monetize for business impact• Manage the data product development lifecycle •Work with stakeholders to gather requirements. • Define the data product's technical architecture •Manage the data product's quality• Launch and monitor the data product •Providing training on the data product to users• Marketing the data product to potential users• Working with the data science team to develop new features for the data product• Managing the data product's budget• Define and Implement the data product marketplace to drive user adoption and experience
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
· Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experiences with a Bachelor's degree; or a Master degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experiences in the field of Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics etc.
· 3+ years of experience working in CPG/Retail industry and sound knowledge in business/data domains related to Customer, Product, Consumer, Finance etc.
· Proven experience in product management or product owner, preferably with a focus on data-driven products like data platform and AI technologies.
· Familiarity with machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model deployment.
· Strong project management skills, stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and data-driven decision-making.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in AI product development.
· Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
· Experience working in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog and Business Glossary.
