Job Description

The Onboarding Manager is responsible for creating a comprehensive new hire, sales training experience for new Sales Associates. Through a comprehensive onboarding experience, we set new sales associates up to succeed and leave them with the impression of a World Class Organization.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the Sales Onboarding Experience: Ensure sales associates have the tools and training in place upon hire to be successful. Work in conjunction with peers and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training material. Organize Bootcamp: agenda, presenters, travel logistics, meals, facilities. Collect feedback and continually evaluate the effectiveness of training to meet the business needs and expectations
    • Oversee the Peer Coach Program. Continually evaluate the success of the Program:  people, tools and process. Manage the role of the Mentors:  training, materials, check-ins, evaluations, success. Oversee the progress of the sales associates under the Mentor. Ensure payment to the Mentors under the program guidelines
    • Participate in Sales Training; executive presentations and training as needed
    • Identify gaps in process, escalate to leadership with strategic recommendations
    • Stay current with Vericast products, tools, selling strategies and soft skills to ensure we are offering the appropriate support to the organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
    • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years Onboarding experience (Preferred)
    • 2 years Act in lead role for projects and programs (Preferred)
    • 2 years Background in developing training material (Preferred)
    • 3 - 5 years Sales or supporting a sales organization (Required)
    • 3 - 5 years Facilitating training or conducting sales presentations (Required)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Some background in developing training is highly preferred
    • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Sales Leaders and support teams to provide highly effective programs to meet the needs of the business
    • Meet tight time constraints and deadlines

    • Interact professionally with various levels of associates, across business units and outside representatives

    • Ability to conduct a thorough department-wide needs assessment to determine key development need areas and determine appropriate training and development solutions
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and timelines simultaneously to meet strategic business solutions
    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)

OTHER

Travel required.  Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
