Customer Analytics Manager

Job Description

The Customer Analytics Manager will lead market and customer research initiatives, providing a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competition to support GSC NAM. With expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and design thinking, this role will uncover insights that inspire growth-minded decisions and foster a data-driven and customer-centric culture in key business decisions.

 

Travel expectations for this rrole are up to 10%. 

 

What will you do?

  • Analyze and visualize customer and market data to derive insights, using various research tools and techniques.
  • Solve complex customer-facing problems and drive innovation through creative thinking and qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Integrate diverse data sources, combining information from disparate sources to derive actionable insights that improve the customer experience.
  • Communicate insights effectively through compelling narratives to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Coach and develop talent in market research and strategic thinking, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Adapt to change and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Independently manage all phases of the market research process including needs identification, project design, execution, analysis, recommendations, and presentation of results.
  • Design and lead advanced qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including concept tests, segmentation, and conjoint/trade-off research, and other advanced multivariate analysis.
  • Serve as a strategic customer research expert and advocate to the front office and business units.
  • Lead the research prioritization process and communicate the roadmap to leaders and business units.
  • Proactively analyze internal and external data sources to provide insights to the organization.
  • Identify and implement innovative methods and insights practices.
  • Drive standard work and process excellence to enhance our market & customer insights capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong people management and leadership skills.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Market/Customer Research, Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or business management is required for this role. MBA/Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in qualitative and quantitative primary research.
  • Continuous improvement (Lean/six sigma training) is a plus.
  • Deep experience with marketing research tools such as Qualtrics, PowerPoint, and text analytics tools.
  • Strong communication skills to synthesize complex information into simple narratives with actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in coaching/managing people.
  • Strategic thinking and vision.
  • Experience in report writing and presenting.

Internally, this role will be referred to as Customer Insights and Analytics Manager.
