Experience and Education
This position requires a good mechanical and custodial aptitude. Experience with general maintenance items is required. Good understanding of production operations and equipment necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be required to perform in a technical environment on a highly integrated robotic paint line. Incumbent should have completed an accredited apprenticeship and/or have post high school training in equipment maintenance. Five years of applicable industrial experience is preferred. Robotics experience is a plus. The successful candidate must:
- Maintain, repair and rebuild automatic spray guns
- Maintain, fill, repair toner systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning to keep the line in optimal condition.
- Maintain optimum spray booth conditions – re-tape, sensor check, clear.
- Have good attendance record and be well organized
- Be able to work independently for the benefit of optimizing production hours
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pieces of integrated equipment
- Replace and inspect mixer belts, pumps, hoses, etc.
- Possess strong computer skills
- Read and understand equipment technical manuals
- Be able to work in small areas or hard to reach positions
- Be Flexible with start/quit time
- Ability to re-build mechanical parts including pistons, seals and fittings.
