Required Education: High School diploma or GED
Skills:
- Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
- Ability to give clear and concise answers to questions and give detailed directions
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail in order to detect irregularities and change in environment
- Ability to calmly and professionally handle situations

- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Certifications:
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles on campus or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 62 pounds weight from the floor.
- Must be able to push/pull a maximum force of 120 pounds.
- Willingness to wear and maintain uniforms, including head covering. Must be willing to conform to department appearance standard.
- Must be willing and able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constantly using sight to include color, depth perception, and clarity.
Departmental Preferences:
- CLEET security guard certified
- First aid and/or CPR training
- Bilingual
