What You’ll Do:

A High School Teller is responsible for accurately handling a variety of member transactions while delivering professional and courteous service to foster and maintain strong member relationships. Responsible for staying knowledgeable about Royal Credit Union’s products, services, procedures, and regulations related to teller functions. Use a variety of events/activities to promote financial literacy and market RCU at Regis HS. Conduct financial education presentations, with guidance from the Financial Education Supervisor.

Work Schedule and Training:

This part-time role requires working approximately 10-12 hours per week during the school year, with summer hours increasing to 20-25 hours per week. All high school tellers will be assigned to a Royal Credit Union branch. During the school year, the high school teller will work 2-3 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month at their assigned Royal Credit Union branch. Summer hours at the assigned branch will vary. Scheduling will be flexible to accommodate school activities.

  • Training will take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM for a week and a half prior to the start of the regular schedule. Training dates are to be determined but will begin in June.


What’s Required:

  • Candidates must be a junior or senior and enrolled in the Regis Youth Apprentice Program for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Consistent and reliable transportation
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Proficient in typing and computer keyboarding
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain high-quality work
  • Basic interviewing and active listening skills
  • Ability to remain professional, patient, and composed in challenging situations
  • Communicate and live RCU’s core purpose, values, and organizational culture every day
  • Comfortable with peer communication and interactions


What’s Preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Cash handling experience
  • Interest in marketing and promotions
