SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Facilities, the Manager, Environmental Services will provide leadership, support and knowledge to team members to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The Manager, Environmental Services will develop, educate and train the team in the area of environmental sharing operational knowledge through coaching and mentoring.

- Effectively executes the completion of the Signature Health scope of work (SOW).
- Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to Director.
- Focuses on resource utilization, best practice guidelines, and continuous improvement for the environmental services team.
- Evaluate team members and recommend/deliver training to improve performance.
- Timely completion of all required Signature Health reports.
- Daily communication and oversight of all direct reports including time and attendance approvals and management and quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Actively attends all required meetings.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Environmental Services preferred.
- Minimum 3 experience in a supervisory or leadership role required.
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills required.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings/weekends and extended hours may be required.
- Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.
- Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
- Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
- Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing job duties.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday.
- Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment.
