Role Responsibilities:

The Learning & Development Analyst (Learning Management Administrator and Instructional Designer) will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operation of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring effective use for the delivery of educational content.  This role combines technical expertise with instructional design skills to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Job duties will include:

  • LMS Administration:
    • Manage and maintain the LMS platform, ensuring smooth operation
    • Configure LMS settings and customize the interface to meet user needs
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LMS-related issues
    • Monitor system performance and implement updates and upgrades as needed
    • Ensure data integrity and security within the LMS
    • Partner with external vendors  
  • Instructional Design:
    • Create engaging and interactive course content
    • Continuously improve and maintenance course content based on feedback and assessments
    • Follows standard ADDIE instructional design processes, including: 
      • Using adult learning theory to guide the design process
      • Participating in the needs analysis, design and development of training modules
      • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts/Business Owners in planning and scoping requirements for learning needs
      • Storyboarding, authoring, and development of e-learning content and blended learning solutions
      • Developing course-specific job aids and performance support materials
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing their questions and concerns
  • Other duties as assigned that support the mission of learning and development at Third Federal

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience with training analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of eLearning, instructor-led and blended learning programs
  • Experience with LMS and instructional design
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with LMS platforms
  • Demonstrated experience using authoring tools such as; Articulate 360, Captivate and Camtasia
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects  
  • Familiarity with banking and finance industry
