Department: Ctr fr Stud Leadship & Involnt
Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Education
Duties:
• Ensure lounge rules are followed and help keep the Lounge Area clean
• Answer and assist with department phone calls
• Perform general clerical work (copying, filing, distributing mail, data entry)
• Interact with all levels of university personnel, students, and the general population
• Assist students, faculty and staff
• Assist with Locker Rentals and Student Activities equipment reservations
• Assist with events and initiatives sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership & Involvement
• Run errands within the university campus buildings
• Assist the office staff as needed
• Serve as backup to the Special Events department
• All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be available to work 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Must have the ability to multi-task and interact professionally with staff, faculty, and students
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be well organized, responsible, punctual, and a self-starter
• Must have good people skills and a professional attitude and appearance
• Must have effective verbal/written communication skills
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow all UHD emergency procedures
Qualifications:
• Must be a current UHD student
