What You’ll Get to Do
The EP Fabrication Operator Custom Doors (Sub Assembler) is focused on sub-assembling doors for our Custom Doors Department and reports to Jeremy Shehan.
This role is perfect for an individual who are focused, a team player, and a lot of energy. A vital member of the Customer Doors Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- This position is responsible for general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools, packing duties, saw operations, quality inspections as well as other duties which may be assigned
- Manufacturing individual parts or components for door assembly
- Qualified candidates must be able to work 2nd shift with periods of required overtime
- Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using or ability to learn to read a tape measure to the 16th's
- Experience or the ability to learn to read and understand fabrication drawings
- Experience using powered industrial tools
- Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints
- Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned
- Communicate well with peers and management
- Must be able to work 2nd shift, with periods of required overtime
- Preference will be given to applicants with former fabrication experience
