Position Title: A&E Specialist (T4)

Role
The A&E Specialist is responsible for the overall management and quality of producing A&E construction drawings and other deliverables associated with A&E products. This includes the managing of the construction drawing product for multiple customers, according to mutually agreed upon scopes of work, project timeline, policies, jurisdictional requirements, and processes as well as utility coordination. Responsibilities also include ordering, forecasting, reviewing, redlining, quality assurance and actualization of all construction drawing tasks created for collocations and amendments. Communication throughout the project is expected to ensure A&E deliverables are completed on-time in accordance with customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- An understanding of construction drawings, surveys and jurisdictional requirement details.
- Construction drawing production management by communicating requirements for effective construction drawing completion to external vendors. Responsibilities include managing the ordering of construction drawing from vendors, manage drawing reviews, manage changes/revisions, and ensure completed construction drawings match scope of work and meet jurisdictional requirements.
- Identify, communicate and drive jurisdictional approval requirements for installations as project scope defines.
- Communicate scope of work changes to appropriate stakeholders throughout the construction drawing process, inclusive of ground space placement changes (internal/external).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve issues especially in times of high volumes of work to deadlines and with accuracy.
- Ability to hold vendors accountable to cycle times, work quality, agreed upon deliverables and drive to resolution of design issues as they
- Ability to provide direction to customers and jurisdictions in a customer service manner with a strong problem solving approach.
- Communication of project costs and any issues that could impact project financials or timelines, including out of scope reimbursables.
- Participation in internal & external kick off as needed, and interaction with carrier representatives to appropriately execute the construction drawing tasks.
- Management and updates to all forecasts for construction drawing tasks.
- Required to use Crown Castle systems for all task flow activity and ensure updated consistently.
- Upload/send A&E deliverables to appropriate customer databases.
- Facilitate and identify template changes and assist standards team when input is needed.
- Function as main point of contact for any A&E items.
- Manage Utility Coordination vendors to drive fiber and power deliverables.
- Utilize data to escalate vendor and utility related issues.
- Leverage PMT to forecast and execute deliverables on-time.
- Review utility designs against internal and external standards.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Engineering Background preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Two (2) + years of A&E drawing and/or telecom experience
- Project management experience
- Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Construction telecom and permitting process experience a plus
- Preferred knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management and / or site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
- An in-depth knowledge of construction drawing management and the ability to understand jurisdictional requirements

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
The pay range offered for this position is $31.30-$43.03 per hour. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
