SUMMARY: Configuration and Document Manager responsible for acquiring, standing up, and implementing the Crowley Data and Document Management System, bringing all of the Preliminary Design documents and plans into Crowley, and establishing control procedures for updating and preparing these deliverables to the NSF in the time required needs to be onboarded the first day after contract award.
CONTINGENCY: This position is contingent upon contract award which is expected in the second quarter of 2025
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Change Control:
· Implementing and managing change control processes for program, design and engineering documents.
· Reviewing and approving design changes and their impact on the overall project, with respect to change control processes.
· Documentation Management:
· Ensuring all design, engineering, and production documents are version-controlled and up to date.
· Managing baselines for different project phases (concept, design, production).
Standards Compliance:
· Ensuring compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 10007 for configuration management.
· Coordinating with regulatory bodies and classification societies (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register).
Collaboration:
· Working closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure consistency and integration of components.
· Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain configuration integrity.
· Auditing and Reporting:
· Conducting audits to verify adherence to configuration management processes.
· Preparing and delivering reports on configuration status, changes, and compliance.
