Accounting Representative
The Accounting Representative plays a key role in supporting the company’s finance operations by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial transactions with precision and efficiency. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Representative collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries, maintaining thorough documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Monitor, track, and resolve discrepancies in financial records, invoices, and statements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial records and reports to support the accounting department.
- Support the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analyses.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to clarify payment details and resolve account issues.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Preferred Competencies
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., JD Edwards) and Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices and compliance requirements.

- Education: Bachelor's
- Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience.
