MEDICAL ASSISTANT 

Medical Assistant needed for fill-in staff relief at outpatient/ clinics.  Hours needed are Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM or 8:30A-5:30PM.

Strong Clinical Skills and Customer Service is essential. 

Pay range is $20 -$22 per hour.  RMA/CMA preferred.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:

• Appointment preparation
• Patient triage and rooming
• Assisting physicians with surgical and treatment procedures and order entry
• Documenting entries into the patient's medical record
• Returns patient calls and prescription call backs
• Check and Monitor Vitals
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures
• Manage and respond to electronic inboxes

Requirements:

• One year of work experience as a medical assistant
• EMR experience
• CPR Certification, (no online certifications)
• EKG experience
