Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world. We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. Scope of Position/Essential Duties: As part of the Enrollment Management Communications and Marketing team, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator supports all communication and marketing efforts for the Division of Enrollment Management. This includes leading and crafting messages for internal and external audiences and managing communications projects to recruit and retain students. This position is responsible for email marketing, orientation/tour/event communications, and website development. The Communications and Marketing Coordinator serves on the email committee for the division and builds queries and writes liquid markup for emails, as well as other functions within the division’s CRM. This position is responsible for creating content for both prospective and returning students and their families at OU. This includes important information for the Office of Admissions & Recruitment, New Sooner Orientation, Concurrent Enrollment, Financial Aid Services, the Student Financial Center, the Office of the Registrar, Scholarship Office, MidFirst Bank Money Coach Program, and Veteran Student Services.
- Responsible for events and campus tour marketing and communication efforts.
- Reviews items for Style Guide compliance, making changes as needed.
- Manages website content, makes edits, and updates.
- Assists with redesigns on websites or pages for a better user experience.
- Assists with developing and maintaining event and admission landing pages.
- Assists with developing and maintaining event and visit portals.
- Assists with marketing campaigns, including developing production timelines and executing SMS and email delivery.
- Monitors progress of projects.
- Assists with email and SMS marketing management.
- Manages internal and external communications such as newsletters, email content, event registration, campus tour communication, orientation marketing, assessment information, and post-admission items.
- Develops and maintains external and internal campus tour portals within the Division.
- Responsible for all major OAR event communication.
- Builds and schedules emails within the Division’s CRM. Slate technical experience is preferred.
- Creates communication, including feature stories, profiles, and website content for OU colleges, departments, programs, and administrative offices.
- Manages OAR event websites. CMS technical experience is preferred.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree
