A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the platform and driving innovation based on the needs of the various Business verticals within Informatica. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly.

YOU WILL...

  • Create and Manage Changes to the System
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes
  • Gather requirements from end users
  • Manage system changes without interruption to the user
  • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation
  • Modify the system to increase benefits and usability
  • Ensure modifications adhere to the change control process
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards and other Salesforce.com objects
  • Implement new enhancements including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, flows, and email alerts
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Provide support functions as needed

Maintain System, Security and Integrity

  • Map salesforce.com hierarchy and territories in response to personnel changes
  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities in response to personnel changes
  • Grant, revoke, and maintain user licenses
  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels
  • Design, create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies
  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on items related to Salesforce.com, third party integrations, and AppExchange

User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction

  • Provide one to one training to end users on an ongoing basis
  • Communicate regularly with users regarding new features, enhancements
  • Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance
  • Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience

Data Quality, Migration and Maintenance

  • Import data as appropriate
  • Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC
  • Monitor and improve data quality
  • Removing unnecessary fields and data
  • Optimize page layout design

Report and Dashboard Creation and Maintenance

  • Create and maintain dashboards
  • Create and maintain reports including folder maintenance

 

YOU HAVE...

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to support business processes
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com technical architecture
  • Strong knowledge with custom objects, page layouts, profiles, permissions, workflows, approval processes, flows and flow triggers
  • Experience with packaging objects, workflows and other settings into change sets and maintaining them across multiple sandboxes
  • Hands-on experience with reports, dashboards, and data management/manipulation
  • Experience with AppExchange packages and integrating 3rd party applications to Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direction

 

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE...

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification
  • Expertise with configure-price-quote (CPQ) module (or similar tools) is highly desirable
  • Expertise with sales forecasting tools and processes
  • Experience with prospecting tools and/or data enrichment services
  • Experience with e-signature solutions
  • Familiarity with integration platforms and/or ETL tools
  • Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning development and deployment to production instances
  • SQL programming and relational database management experience
  • Programming experience in Python, Scala, or Javascript a plus
