AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. (Equitable) seeks a Senior Manager - Quality Assurance for its Charlotte, NC location.

Duties: Support development of software solutions for Quality Engineering (QE) within the retirement business team. Responsible for end to end quality delivery on complex Individual retirement platform consisting of many systems, interfaces and API's. Responsible for end-to-end individual platform maintenance and support with regard to quality of code changes, technical design, business value and regression. Expand Test Automation to improve quality, reduce cycle times and optimize risk. Work with key business stakeholders to articulate any risks, defects, or issues. Actively participate in QE guild to provide innovative solutions and improve quality. Assume functional management responsibility for overseeing QE resources, including coordination of offshore and in-house teams to assess project health, transition knowledge, and resolve queries. Coordinate business users, Business Analysts, developers and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team for clarifications and user experience. Manage day to day testing status reporting with scrum masters and delivery leads. Utilize Agile, Scrum, BDD/TDD to deliver software solutions with high business value and quality while ensuring low production leakage. Implement institutionalized standards of quality engineering into the team. Define and standardize metrics and tools to improve monitoring and transparency. Expand Test Automation to improve quality, reduce cycle times and optimize risk. Work with QE guild leads to provide innovative solutions and improve quality of business process. Communicate project progression at the executive level with key business stakeholders, IT leaders, and business partners.Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or closely related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-Baccalaureate experience as a Quality Analyst, Quality Engineer, Test Lead or a related position involving quality engineering analysis for the financial services or global insurance industry. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in: Building and executing automatic test scripts; Test case planning, execution, documentation and reporting of manual and automated test cases; SDLC, Testing Life Cycle and Software QA methodologies; HP Quality Center; Annuities products and business strategy implementation; Java, Selenium, Oracle SQL Developer; and wmA, Vantage, csAccelerator. Must have at least one (1) year in Agile and SAFE for mainframe applications. 40 hours/week. Direct applicants only.
