Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field of study required
A Minimum of 5 years of credit related experience required
Ability to coach others and develop their knowledge and skills
Ability to give clear feedback on performance and areas of developmental need
Ability to understand and apply accounting policies and procedures related to Credit/Accounts Receivable.
Ability to effectively analyze various types of financial information and reach sound conclusions
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the business unit management to achieve the best possible results
An effective communicator, forceful when necessary yet tactfully persuasive
Ability to lead and conduct financial and credit related meetings with senior SBU management and external customers
Ability to effectively negotiate with customers in a high stress environment
- Strong excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to Travel 20% as necessary
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of SAP Receivables
Experience working with commercial collection regulations and mechanics lien laws
- Retail Credit Experience
