Commercial Territory Manger

Key Responsibilities

• Business Plan Development - develop and implement a territory business plan to support LIC growth, by identifying target markets and segments, and developing related strategies.
• Distribution Management - with each new and existing distribution, develop business strategy and working plan for new business growth.
• Distributor Account management - develop and sustain positive relationships with distributor personnel and distributor end user accounts to achieve distributor plan.
• Direct Accounts Management- sell, then lead the sales cycle of direct accounts.
• Handle Internal Relationships - communicate LIC strategy with Zone Territory Managers and Regional Managers to ensure team approach and mutual success.
• Functional/ Personal Development - remain up to date on LIC product and services, and dedication to Performance Learning Plan development plan to ensure job success and career opportunity.
• Competitive Awareness - understands competition, their offerings (products and services) and develop counter programs.
• Mentorship of Others - serve as a mentor and help develop lower-level Commercial Territory Managers

Qualifications

• Business degree or equivalent experience with 5+ year’s sales experience in Commercial Coatings; Distribution channel experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Previous use of ClientLink CRM is preferred
