Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator - Healthcare Staffing and Homecare

In Person Position 

Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm / 9:00am-6:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs recruiting / clerical / scheduling activities that facilitate Agency operations. These activities include coordination of employee schedules with client wants/needs, processing intake information, and communication with referral sources.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduate; advanced education desirable.
• Recent recruitment / staffing experience required, preferably for a temporary Healthcare Staffing Agency, homecare or in home health.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or a general medical background desirable.
• Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer literate or willing to be trained on a personal computer.
• Speaks, reads, writes, and comprehends English.
• Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to function with
minimal direction.
• Knowledge of Indeed, Oracle Taleo, other online applicant tracking systems or online candidate tracking systems. Continulink or other home health, home care or staffing software solution programs. Candidate screening software / Candidate tracking software, Salesforce and other CRM systems very beneficial.
• Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Primary function is to handle the hiring process, from posting jobs and phone screening candidates, to  scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth on - boarding process for viable candidates.
Screens potential employees quality for attributes desirable to Nurses and More including highly sought - after  roles in their field.
Creates files for employees, verifies licenses/education credentials, certifications, performs background checks, and places advertisements for staff positions.  Maintains files to ensure current credentials are in compliance.  
Assists with marketing, payroll and/or collection functions, as needed.
Ensures all assigned office functions are completed in compliance with federal, state, local laws, and JCAHO regulations as well as all policies, procedures, and standards of Nurses and More

•   Assists the Client Service Supervisor (or designee) in establishing and monitoring compliance with
and operations standards.
•   Receives referral calls, documents job orders, assists in staffing orders with qualified personnel, and/or
organizes/reorganizes job schedules for home care personnel..
Promotes agency through education to prospective and existing patients/clients.
Provides input to management on improving processes and procedures, developing recognition and reward programs, and becoming more cost and time efficient.
May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and
responsibilities.
