Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world. We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. Our goal is to build a vibrant community with limitless potential by recruiting the most academically qualified students with a variety of educational, service, involvement and community experiences.

Scope of Position/Essential Duties: Recruits students to the university, with emphasis on graduates of United World Colleges (UWCs). Also involved in retention efforts for currently enrolled Davis UWC Scholars. Designs and produces recruitment materials, attends recruitment fairs and presents guest lectures to students. Serves as a liaison between other colleges, admissions and records, information technology and other relevant local, regional, and national associations. Serves as a resource to guide prospective students, their supporters, high school personnel, and other key stakeholders about the admissions process and will facilitate and coordinate related application processes of the university. Designs and executes retention programming for current Davis Scholars.
Duties:
- Serves as a student recruiter for the university; designs, produces and maintains recruitment literature; prepares and maintains college bulletins; responds to prospective student and applicant inquiries; represents the university at career fairs and guest lectures held at high schools and events throughout the assigned area.
- Serves as a resource to guide prospective students, their supporters, and high school personnel about the admissions process and will facilitate and coordinate related application processes of the university; attends admissions committee meetings and prepares related documentation.
- Maintain and distribute information to students regarding scholarship and career opportunities; serve as the liaison/coordinator between on-campus and external entities.
- Coordinates and carries out projects or assignments pertaining to the recruitment, or activities of the university. May include counseling students, event planning, producing in-house publications, performing public relations functions, etc.; serves as a member of various project teams and may lead projects
- Serves as a brand ambassador for the university in the assigned recruitment region
- Also working directly with enrolled Davis Scholars, promotes academic, personal and overall well-being and success of students in UWC Scholars Program.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
--- Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
- 12 months of related experience.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months of related experience.
