Associate Brand Manager, Galaxy of Heroes

Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for an Associate Brand Manager to support business strategy, product marketing, and live services marketing at EA for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, reporting to the Sr. Brand Director. At EA, you will join a team that is shaping the global presence and influence of the successful Galaxy of Heroes mobile game, as well as serve as the daily point of contact for Lucas Film to support the vision of one of the most beloved brands in the world, Star Wars.

You have experience in mobile game marketing, particularly in RPG or strategy genres, and are looking for an opportunity to grow your skillset in product marketing, app store marketing, lifecycle marketing, and direct response marketing while working closely with the development team. You thrive in a quickly-moving environment and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing key brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with studio teams to develop product roadmap that addresses target audience needs.
  • Take insights from game and marketplace and drive marketing planning around user acquisition, engagement, and retention KPI
  • Drive and air-traffic control execution across mobile marketing channels that impact title growth and business objectives
  • Take understanding of what’s working in-market to further optimize channel marketing.
  • Partner with analytics teams to test merchandising, messaging, game features, and improve player experiences based on those findings
  • Point of contact for Lucas relationship:
    • Ensure each Star Wars project is properly communicated to Lucas; management of Lucas relationship at the day-to-day level
    • Drive visibility with Lucas into upcoming marketing roadmap and strategy. 
    • Quality control around brand standard for internal before sharing marketing assets with Lucas, to maintain correct Star Wars content and context. 

Skills / Competencies:

  • Experience building marketing strategies and executing tactical plans for mobile games
  • Strong business, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Project management experience to manage cross-functional groups.
  • Understanding of consumer live service
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Embraces working in a dynamic, flexible, changing environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years working in marketing roles, preferably in mobile gaming
