WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a SageIOT NOC Associate, you will thrive in a fast-paced customer support center environment while balancing a multitude of tickets, escalations, and projects. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and upholding the deployment of SageIOT managed devices globally, addressing customer and internal escalations, and ensuring adherence to both scheduled and ad hoc reporting standards.

Major duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitor and uphold the deployment of SageIOT managed devices globally
  • Address customer and internal escalations promptly and effectively
  • Ensure adherence to reporting standards, both scheduled and adhoc
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent support and service
  • Utilize strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cellular connections and IoT networks
  • Run and troubleshoot network services on remote hosts (such as FTP/SFTP/HTTP)
  • Make API calls via a REST API service to manage and monitor devices
  • Work with databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Support and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) environments such as AirWatch
  • Understand and work with embedded hardware and software
  • Utilize proficiency in programming languages (Java, Ruby, Python, Bash, PHP) for automation and scripting tasks
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud or remotely managed devices, including AWS services like S3

 

WHO YOU ARE

Key Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Flexible availability (e.g., must be able to be a part of a rotating on-call schedule) 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications with a strong focus on Excel
  • General understanding of network concepts (e.g., IP addressing/subnets, ping, firewall)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) environments such as AirWatch 
  • Experience Troubleshooting Cellular Connections
  • Solid networking knowledge, including cellular IoT networks
  • Familiarity with non-consumer operating systems such Linux
  • Experience in making API calls via a REST API service 
  • Understand of embedded hardware and software 
  • Knowledge of IOT devices and their functionality
  • Familiarity running and troubleshooting network services on remote hosts (such as FTP/SFTP/HTTP) 
  • Proficiency with at least one of the following languages (Java, Ruby, Python, Bash, PHP) 
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases 
  • Experience with cloud or remotely managed devices, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) like S3.

  • Productively work in a hybrid work environment which consists of 3 mandatory “all-in” days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 virtual days.  Hybrid work environment is applied per position/department and may be subject to change per changes in the Policy.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform work in front of a dedicated workspace for a prolonged period
  • Be able to sit for long periods without problem
  • Extensive use of fingers and hands for typing
  • Extensive use of eyes to be able to analyze documents electronically and physically for long periods
