Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Client Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a book of business comprised of existing clients that are categorized as Tier 2 that have current billing from $10k to $24,999 in payments and solutions revenue. The Client Manager is responsible to retain, strengthen, and grow relationships with clients over the phone and through written communications and video platforms. Is responsible for managing operational needs of the assigned accounts and will be responsible to retain business through contract negotiations. Serves as primary point of daily contact for assigned clients. Provides results and ongoing consultation to foster a positive client relationship. Position will also assist with contract negotiations and solution and payment needs for Tier's 3, 4, and 5 and
generate leads for new logos in both payments and solutions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retention of Existing Accounts: Develops an annual territory plan for retention of existing book of business assigned to the territory. Will proactively work with clients to understand needs and provide ongoing support to enhance the relationship. Will service the account through tele-sales and other virtual platforms. Position will be fully responsible for all Tier 2 clients and will assist where needed to retain Tier's 3, 4, and 5 clients assigned to Account Management.
  • Account Management: Will effectively work to meet the needs of the client, build client relationship, and take responsibility for client satisfaction and loyalty. Effectively balances tasks and initiatives based on company priorities. Completes all requested and/or tasks to effectively manage account including, but not limited to: set up, maintenance, problem resolution, inquiries, Vericast initiatives.
  • Solutions Management & Lead Generation: Position will be responsible for all solution needs for Tier 2 clients and provide solution support to Tier's 3, 4, and 5 clients. The Client Manager will accept leads and referrals from Account Management. Acts as a consultant to assigned clients to support increased usage of company solutions. There will not be a quota associated with this component of the position. Position can generate leads that are to be passed along to an Account Executive within the division.
  • Verbal/Communication Skills: Develop and maintain relationship with existing clients over the phone, through email, or video platforms. The position will maintain and help grow the business through a consultative approach in promoting Vericast products and services.
  • Project Management and Documentation: Manages projects through the implementation of company processes and procedures in order to meet established client deadlines, communicates timelines to project team and members and updates as necessary, manages client budgets and project expenses, ensures quality control throughout each stage of the process and documents all activities in Pivotal.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years previous Telesales or Contact Center Services experience preferred.
  • 5 years previous sales experience.


COMMUNICATION & CONTACTS

  • Regular and consistent interaction with accounts, other Sales personnel, Corporate, and Plant personnel over the phone.


DECISION MAKING

  • Position requires above average problem solving skills and independent judgment.

Additional Information

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $63,000 + bonus opportunity

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
