Position Title: Wireless Client Services Intern

Role

The Wireless Client Services Intern is a part of the team that identifies opportunities and recommends alternative solutions to our customers to mitigate churn through understanding of the rights, obligations, and financial terms of existing agreements. This role and team focus on fostering internal and external customer relationships that result in maximizing revenue streams. The Intern will partner with internal departments to improve processes that better serve our mission and promote customer information and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer compliance with contractual termination rights and obligations.
  • Initiate proactive customer communications pertaining to contractual terms and conditions including financial implications, renewal options, and termination requirements.
  • Forecast revenue impact of contract terminations, determine cancellation drivers and document detailed rights, obligations and recommendations through termination application entry.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer’s failure to comply with contractual obligations governing equipment removal, managing the involvement of multiple internal and external partners.
  • Monitor and revise forecast routinely to ensure revenue impacts are accurately reflected at various levels of the Company.
  • Provide support for customer specific projects and initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Customer Retention Specialists and Client Service Managers within Client Services.
  • Provide guidance and route challenging customer issues for resolution.

Education/Certifications 

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution
  •  Preferred field(s) of study: contract administration, customer service/sales, finance, accounting, or related field

Skills and Experience

  •  Previous academic or internship experience in Contract Law and Interpretation, Sales, Negotiations, Project Management, Accounting, and/or Financial Reporting and Analysis preferred
  •  Resourceful, creative and results-oriented thinker with the ability to see the “Big Picture” for organizational success
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.); experience with J.D. Edwards preferred
  •  Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 2 to August 8, 2025
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship

Reports to: Senior Manager, Wireless Client Services

Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.

Compensation Information: The hourly pay offered for this position is $19.50 per hour.
