NGL Analyzer Technician
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent
Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors; able to work in a self-directed work team
Must become proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel,
Must work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage their time when given multiple tasks.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1-5 years’ work experience in a NGL facility
Two years working with Chemical/Petroleum measurement
Seeing a self-starter, and ability to work with peers in collaborative efforts
Be able to work with internal and external customers verify product flows and volumes
Ability to learn areas of Fractionator Operations
Experience with a computer based management system (SAP, Maximo)
Experience with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures
Experience in work permit processes and procedures
Be able to diagnose, repair, and calibrate analyzers
Experience working in collaborative efforts, be a highly motivated self-starter
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and able to respond to call outs
Two year associates degree in instrumentation, measurement, analyzers or equivalent training
Five years' experience in the Chemical/Petroleum Industry
Two years working with Chemical/Petroleum measurement
Experience with analyzer instrument installations and calibrations
Ability to diagnose, repair, and calibrate on line analyzers
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.
- Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
- Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
