JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

UTHealth Houston is seeking a seasonal employee who will work part-time on our campus for an hourly rate. This position will only last for four to five months and is designed for college students or people who are looking to transition into a career in Information Technology.  

Position Key Accountabilities: 

In this position, you will be working with our IT Infrastructure team and helping with our Active Directory and email system. Most tasks will be clerical in nature and revolve around an information database that needs to be precise and accurate.  

This role will be paid hourly and can work up to forty hours a week with some flexibility if needed.  


Minimum Education:

There is no educational requirement, but you must be at least 16 years of age. We do prefer currently enrolled college students or employees who are looking at changing to Information Technology as a career. 

Minimum Experience:

This role has no minimum experience, but we prefer those with some IT background. 

Physical Requirements:

You must be able to lift at least twenty-five pounds without assistance.

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas. This job will be on-site.
