We are seeking a full-time Inside Rental Sales Representative with experience in industrial pumps. This is an exempt, onsite position based at our office in Clackamas, OR. Regular working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The annual base salary range is $60,000 – 75,000 (DOE)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

You will handle customer relationships, technical sales, and logistics for pump products. Ideal day-to-day will include assisting customers with technical applications, preparing sales quotes, coordinating manufacturing and delivery schedules, and reaching out to potential leaders. You’ll also attend industry events, stay current on product knowledge, and work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth project management and exceptional customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track stock levels weekly and assist with driving demand as needed to maintain inventory.
  • Oversee logistics, resolve delivery issues, and recommend pump specifications to meet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships. Document customer feedback and conduct customer visits for field problem-solving and facilitate customer training.
  • Handle and document customer communications, including inquiries, technical support, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct customer outreach and provide product demonstrations, highlighting marketing programs and services.
  • Compile customer lists, qualify leads, and sell products and services.
  • Prepare sales quotes, technical correspondence, and verify customer orders.
  • Offer technical guidance on flow, viscosity, and pressure requirements.
  • Maintain and analyze data on prospects, customers, competitors, and market trends.
  • Update sales and marketing materials to align with market needs and opportunities.
  • Process warranty claims and dealer credit requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage manufacturing schedules and project timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Schedule product testing and ensure all certifications and documentation are communicated effectively.
  • Apply in-depth technical pump knowledge, including BOMs, curves, dimensions, and system troubleshooting.
  • Identify and resolve pump or system challenges, documenting data for evaluation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and events, promoting products and services.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and participate in cross-company committees and educational opportunities to support team success.
  • Work closely with production to maintain reasonable lead times and drive orders through as needed
  • Coordinates and schedules testing. Inform customers of different tyles of tests and certifications that can be provided.
  • Owner of managing large projects as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
