Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Tech III (LOOP TRUCK)

2nd shift: 3:00p-11:30p 

 

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (include tasks, specific knowledge and abilities required):

  • Basic Understanding of all Kanban, Order for Order, CDO and Receiving related functions.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Material Handling and/or Waterspider functions a plus
  • Follow up on stockouts as needed to support customer needs
  • Responsible for operating loop truck between two plants to transport materials
  • Will be cross trained in Kitting, Kanban, receiving, CDO
  • Assist with training and cross training newly hired associates and those new to team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all coworkers.
  • Must be self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Knowledge of AMAPS a plus
  • Support and adhere to all Safety rules & regulations.
  • Remain flexible with work hours to support customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Will perform other duties as required.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 22 lbs. 40 lbs. with assistance.
  • Daily use of basic computer systems
  • Must be able to pass a Physical, and eye exam.

 

 Equipment, Machines, and Tools Used:

  • Any style of forklift
  • Drive loop truck
  • Operate the Yard dog

 

Schneider Electric’s screening process includes substance abuse screening, verification of employment eligibility, and a 7-year background check. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
