Job Description

The Lead Generation Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a pivotal role in driving qualified leads to the sales team, fueling Vericast's growth engine. This role requires a blend of prospect and client research, outreach expertise, and strong communication skills to establish valuable connections and convert leads into successful meetings with sellers.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect Qualification and Targeting: Engage with leads via various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to understand their needs and qualify them for sales appointments. Prioritize outreach efforts based on lead quality and potential fit with Vericast solutions. 40%
  • Lead Conversion: In collaboration with the Growth Marketing team, develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to build rapport and generate interest.  Articulate the value proposition of Vericast solutions and address prospect concerns effectively.  Secure qualified appointments (calls or meetings) for the sales team, meeting monthly targets. 30%
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Maintain consistent communication with the sales team, providing clear insights into lead progress and engagement.   -Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to identify trends, optimize lead generation strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement.   -Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of qualified appointments, conversion rates, and lead engagement metrics. 30%

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related subject (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, Account Executive, or Sales Development role, with a proven track record of exceeding lead generation goals (Preferred)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to research, analyze data, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple leads and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in cold calling and email outreach techniques.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Hubspot or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospects and effectively communicate Vericast's value proposition.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and lead generation best practices.

Additional Information

Hourly Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 

Position is eligible for a variable compensation program for each qualified lead. 

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
