What do you get to do in this position?
- Support the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System for the production area/lines (parametrization and setup for customer products)
- Actively participate in design reviews for processes requiring MES deployment while giving on data collection and retention at each step
- Lead develop and integration of system design software for Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Define equipment required to achieve requirements of equipment specification
- Plan and provide detailed training on system design, maintenance and troubleshooting to various customer skills to maintain system uptime
- Support of existing system designs and production issues will be required both locally and at various sites globally
- Drive definition of facility network, firewalls, cybersecurity and VPN requirements to support MES systems
- Maintains up to date knowledge of technologies and utilizes this knowledge to specify and develop innovative solutions
- Continuous improvement and process support including interaction between MES and ERP (or other local Systems)
Qualifications
This job might be for you if:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in a role in Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation
- Understanding of ERP, SAP systems and interfaces to MIS/MES systems
Skills:
- Extensive experience with C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Oracle
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL or MySQL)
- MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET
- Previous experience with MES or manufacturing area technologies (is a plus)
