POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor will oversee shift team member performance and work alongside the team to complete the facility’s custodial services. This role will be expected to complete quality inspections of all areas and train others as needed. The Supervisor is required to resolve customer complaints and complete all duties as requested by the facility. During Project Manager absence(s), this role is expected to manage and support the relationship between GCS onsite supervision and government-building
leadership. Occasional travel may be requested to support coverage needs at other worksites.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

  • Handle day-to-day work challenges confidently; is willing and able to adjust to multiple demands
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record along with timeliness to work, breaks and lunch.
  • Know and understand the contract’s SOW (statement of work) and the specific requirements of the job which include but not limited to floor care, restroom cleaning and green cleaning
  • Demonstrate cooperation and teamwork; effectively forge working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote and maintain safety
  • Maintain a current and up-to-date understanding of and comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to employee performance reviews, setting goals and objectives
  • Maintain adequate and appropriate inventory of custodial supplies/equipment including submission of requisitions and recommendations

External Hiring Range:  $$24.58 plus $5.00 Health and Welfare

Travel Required: YES

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

Required Experience: Must be computer proficient in (basic) Internet, Microsoft Office Suite and Operative Equipment

Preferred Experience: At least one year of recent (within the past 5 years) experience in directing cleaning operations in a supervisory capacity

Schedule: This is a second shift position (2:00pm – 10:30 pm) Weekends as needed

 REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Must be able to pass federal security clearance.
  • Fully conversant in English.
