Job Description

The Associate HR Generalist provides support to the Human Resources Team and their respective client groups in various aspects of the Talent Acquisition/Onboarding, Compliance/Reporting and Off-boarding processes. 

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Data Entry/ Reporting: Process off-cycle payroll requests as needed; Validate payroll for assigned departments; Processes and validates associate changes related to job and personal information; Maintain HR Shared-point site; May interact with certain aspects of the contractor or immigration process; Report generation and metrics to include associate rosters, turnover reports, safety reports, etc.; Confidentially ensure employee personnel files are in compliance up-to-date. Record, process and maintain employee records related to I-9, incident claim forms, etc. from start to finish; Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance; I-9 compliance and updates when name changes, etc.; May handle some aspects of the Worker’s compensation claim process. 40%

·       Off-boarding: Assists HR Generalist in employee off boarding process  to include submitting termination forms to IT and prepare unemployment forms when required.  Respond to unemployment claim requests and partners with HRBP when necessary; Administer outplacement services when applicable. 25%

·       Talent Acquisition/On-boarding: Assists HR Generalist in providing a best in class on-boarding experience; Maintain referral bonus documents and ensure timely payment to eligible employees; Enters new employee attributes into system of record and ensures system accuracy. 25%

·       Special HR-Related Projects: Assist HR leadership team with various research projects and/or special projects. 10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or minimum (1 yr) Human Resources experience required
  • Previous HR experience desired
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate and work with individuals with disabilities and diverse backgrounds
  • Proven ability to multitask to meet workflow demands and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain decorum in the highly confidential nature of the work
  • Math aptitude for relatively complex addition subtraction multiplication and division to complete job requirements
  • Excellent computer and software skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access required
