We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team at [Facility Name], a respected long-term care facility. As a key member of our dietary team, you will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a safe and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation and service, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
  • Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Work closely with the dietary and nursing staff to meet the dietary needs of residents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any meal-related concerns or preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Availability to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
