JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality system.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Implement and maintain ISO9001:2015 standard
  • Implement and maintain 5S activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations
  • Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
  • Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
  • Attention to detail
  • Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and post solutions to those flaws
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Able to lead root cause analysis investigations
  • 5 years of prior manufacturing quality control experience (preferred)
  • ISO9001 certified auditor (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping
  • Lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 25lbs

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection available
  • Steel toe shoes in plant
