The Human Resources Assistant provides basic employee relations support for Houston Region Operations, which includes Mont Belvieu and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and processing employment record changes within the Oracle system.
- Conducting new hire orientations and completing new employee onboarding tasks.
- Coordinating termination paperwork and conducting exit interviews.
- Partnering with client groups to provide guidance and assistance with employee transfers, promotions, terminations, or other employee changes.
- Coordinating with employees and Supervisors to ensure employees complete all items required when returning from a medical-related leave or absence.
- Responding to employee questions and concerns and ensuring responses are aligned with corporate policies and procedures.
- Assisting with Employee Relations investigations and matters, as needed.
- Running and auditing reports, communicating or completing changes, as needed.
- Ordering supplies, organizing and coordinating meetings.
- Leading or assisting with special projects, as needed.
- Performing other duties, as assigned.
