About the Role
Assist and support the Business Banking function.  Enhance relationships through customer service, product knowledge and financial analysis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Obtain essential pre-closing documents needed for lender to make necessary lending decisions. Request/coordinate proper documentation needed from customers.

  • Responsible for preparing/updating loan files to ensure the bank has timely and accurate financial and collateral information.

  • Input customer information in bank systems to facilitate credit requests.

  • Develop and prepare individualized loan packages.
  • Prepare documents for offsite storage and record retention within guidelines.

  • Communicate with Risk Management pre and post close to verify that bank security standards are met.

  • Attend all compliance training, assist in training lenders as needed.
  • Assist in preparing documents requested for all internal audits, external audits and fed exams.

  • Responsible for processing customer transfers including deposit account and loan transactions.

  • Open deposit accounts and cross sell ancillary products.

  • Expected to be well versed on all bank products to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and management.

  • Review customer’s current relationship with FPB to help determine appropriate ancillary product recommendations.

  • Answer incoming customer calls and forward to appropriate staff members.
  • Assist and support bank administration with operational issues and document revisions.

  • Assist in the completion of special projects and attend task force meetings as scheduled.

  • Attend continuing education to keep current on changing regulations.

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, on and off site.

  • Coordinate activities and events including customer appreciation events.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Must possess basic understanding banking. 

  • Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

  • Basic PC skills and proficiency of the English language. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and exercise discretion regarding confidential matters. 

  • Adapt and prioritize within a constantly changing environment. 

  • Ability to concentrate and work independently. 

  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.
