Full Time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA). Responsibilities to include providing care in the following settings: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient, and Home Health Care. 

$23 per hour and up based on experience

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) will assist in providing quality Physical Therapy patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and patients, under the direction of licensed personnel.

Responsibilities of a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) performs job duties in various settings including SNF, Outpatient, and Home Health Care.
  • Assists in screenings and initial evaluations of all residents.
  • Implements and executes treatment of all residents who could benefit from intervention as prescribed by a state approved referral source.
  • Appropriately delivers treatment to achieve identified objectives.
  • Appropriately documents progress against identified objectives using SOAP format.
  • Communicates patient's status and needs to supervising Physical Therapist, and as appropriate, to the patient, the patient's family the staff and other professionals.
  • Attends facility patient care plan, administrative staff and family conference meetings as directed by the Licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

Qualifications of a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)

  • Valid PTA License in the state of Ohio
