Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the aggregates industry. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential customers while driving sales of our aggregate products (sand, gravel, stone, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and a deep understanding of the aggregates market.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Generate new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential customers within the aggregates market.

    • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

    • Maintain and grow relationships with current customers to secure repeat business and referrals.

  • Customer Support:

    • Understand the unique needs of each customer and provide tailored solutions using the company’s full range of aggregate products.

    • Provide product knowledge, guidance, and pricing to customers, ensuring they receive the best value and service.

    • Offer exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and issues quickly and effectively.

  • Market Research & Reporting:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities.

    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other required documentation as directed by management.

    • Track sales progress and market conditions, ensuring timely responses to changes in demand.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and product availability.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies and promotional campaigns for the aggregate products.

    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities.
