Essential Functions
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree (educational equivalent), or 7 years of relevant work experience in lieu of education, AND 7 years experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Service, or HSE. Expert understanding of regulations and the regulatory process. Excellent analytical, program, and trend evaluation skills. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management. Professional certifications may be required.
Position Summary
Evaluates the performance quality, occupational health, safety and/or environmental audits and assessments for facilities within and external to geographic or functional area of responsibility to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws. Evaluates effectiveness of orientations, assessments of work sites, and publications that implement and promote quality, occupational health, safety and/or environmental policies and procedures. Sets goals and objectives and creates initiatives to respond to analysis and interpretation of quality, occupational health, safety and/or environmental performance data. Develops recommended practices for regulatory and/or client submissions. Evaluates effectiveness of information and responses to employees, managers, clients and the general public. May directly respond to all inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies and/or community groups. May assist or train lower level specialists. Handles special projects, as assigned.
