Job Summary:
The Admissions Director/Marketer will be responsible for managing the admissions process at our Skilled Nursing Facility and promoting our services to prospective residents, their families, and healthcare providers. This individual will work closely with the clinical and operational teams to ensure a smooth transition for new residents, while also developing and executing marketing strategies to increase facility visibility and build strong relationships with referral sources in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions & Intake Management:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day admissions process, ensuring timely and efficient intake of new residents into the facility.
Conduct thorough assessments and interviews with prospective residents and families to determine care needs and eligibility.
Coordinate with physicians, social workers, and insurance providers to ensure smooth pre-admission, admission, and discharge processes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and documentation standards for patient admissions and intake procedures.
Serve as the main point of contact for families and referral sources throughout the admissions process, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions.
Marketing & Community Outreach:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the facility and its services to the local community, hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers.
Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community organizations to drive new admissions.
Conduct presentations, tours, and informational sessions for prospective residents, families, and healthcare professionals to showcase the facility’s offerings and quality of care.
Represent the facility at local health fairs, networking events, and community activities to increase visibility and establish the facility as a trusted resource in the community.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the clinical and admissions team to ensure smooth transitions for new residents.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide input on care plans and services offered to new residents.
Assist with the development of community outreach initiatives and educational events to increase awareness of the facility’s services.
Qualifications:
Experience: Experience in healthcare marketing and admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar healthcare setting. Clinical experience a plus.
Skills:
Proven track record in admissions and marketing with experience meeting occupancy and growth targets.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the skilled nursing industry, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance processes, and long-term care regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, PointClickCare, and other relevant technology tools.
